Women’s-only textile tours of India

Australian-based travel company for women, Travelling Divas, will be running a tour to India from 13-30 September, 2020 titled, India: Textiles, Culture & the Raj. This luxury 17-day tour will take in the culture, architecture, textiles and cuisine in such destinations as Kolkata, Varanasi (experiencing the Ganges); Agra (visiting the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort); and Lucknow. Highlights include the storytelling of the Raj with a private historian guide; access to the private home of a renowned artist and film-maker; a fashion trunk show with local designers; access to textiles, silks and fabrics, meeting with the weavers; and private guided heritage, food and architecture tours. The tour is priced at US$8155 (about A$12,008) per person.
