Relais & Chateux new members

The prestigious member-only group of fine culinary sites around the world, Relais & Chateaux, has welcomed nine new members into its portfolio. Among the new members is Grand House, Vila Real de Santo António in Algarve, Portugal (pictured). The first hotel to open in the Algarve back in 1926, the property on the Guadiana river has undergone a recent restoration to showcase its Belle Époque architecture. In its waterfront Grand Salon restaurant, the cuisine is made from locally-sourced ingredients and highlights Portuguese culinary traditions.
