The hyped reopening of Botswana’s eightsuite DumaTau Camp after a complete rebuild – and launch of its neighbouring sister, Little DumaTau – is finally a reality. While not as frequented as nearby safari regions of Chobe or the Okavango Delta, Linyanti Wilderness Reserve is a mecca for wildlife lovers – especially those with a penchant for elephants. Here, migrating mega-herds congregate beside lagoons just steps from the property, as the confluence of the Kwando and Linyanti rivers is a main thoroughfare for the species. Gaze over the gentle giants from your suite, which also features a plunge pool, outdoor shower and ‘curiosity box’ full of wildlife tidbits. Also new is the Osprey Retreat, a wellness centre with a spa, gym, boutique, covered deck with daybeds, and deli area serving healthy snacks.
