Love from the Louvre
Created by celebrated restaurateur and art director Laurent Taïeb, Hôtel Madame Rêve sits pretty within a historic 1888 building that once served as the Louvre Post Office. Indeed, it’s just a block away from the fabled Parisian gallery. But you don’t need to leave the property to appreciate art – Taïeb commissioned some of France’s finest creatives to bedeck the 82 rooms and public spaces. In the grand café is a mural by artist Olivier Masmonteil; French typographer Jacques Villeglé created an immense fresco in the entrance hall, while portraits by Inès Longevial decorate the bedrooms. Every space is a dream, but the star suites – aptly named ‘Exceptional View’ – come with vistas over the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Coeur or Notre-Dame Cathedral. madamereve.com
