It was all yellow
Celebrating its 150th birthday this year, Yellowstone National Park is the oldest national park in the world. Perched on top of a dormant volcano spanning three states (Wyoming, Idaho and Montana), it’s home to more geysers than anywhere on the planet. And then there are the lakes, canyons, rivers and gorges. Needless to say, it’s home to an astonishing menagerie of flora and fauna – much of it endangered or threatened. Look out for grizzlies, wolves, bison and elk.
