What do you love about your job? Ed & Sam: Running a global brand gives us the opportunity to travel to amazing locations around the world and meet some amazing people. We love meeting like-minded people in our industry. Where was the last place you

flew for business? Sam: Bali, working from our ‘island office’. This is where

I do all my design work, as the constant sunshine gives me endless inspiration. Ed: New York for our Staerk & Christensen x Pared Eyewear launch. How do you pass the time while you’re

in the air? Sam: I usually go tech-free and draw, and read magazines, and we now have a baby so my recent trips have been focused on keeping him happy. Ed: Sleep. Of course, I am also assisting Sam with our new baby boy. What’s your all-time favourite holiday destination? Ed & Sam: California. We were married in Palm Springs two years ago so it will always hold a special place in our hearts. What do you never travel without? Ed: Noise-cancelling headphones, my iPad Pro for movies, Monocle magazine, a few canisters of Hydralyte and a fresh notepad.

Sam: I buy every magazine and digest them on a flight. What’s your top travel

tip? Ed: Stay flexible. We rarely book a return trip as we never know where the next opportunity may take us.

Sam: Invest in a good suitcase with four-way wheels. Where are you heading next? Ed & Sam: Bali, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Then Paris and Miami. It’s non-stop.
