Summer is deliciously close and we all know that means getting your hands on a fresh brew. In the past few years we’ve been lucky to have a number of craft breweries open around the country. At Modus Operandi we like to think we do things a bit differently but our philosophy is simple – Beer First. No Shortcuts. We’ve been working on it since Modus Operandi’s inception on Sydney’s Northern Beaches in 2014. Four years of thought and consideration, trial and experimentation, brewing and fermentation, to perfect the coolest, tastiest, freshest roster of beers going.

From day one we’ve focused on quality without compromise. ‘Every decision we make starts with making the beer the best quality possible,’ says Grant Wearin, who co-founded Modus Operandi with his wife Jaz. ‘That’s what sets us apart and what we’ve strived for since we opened. If it means sourcing the best ingredients from around the world, if it means the process takes a bit longer, so be it.’ And after four years, that mantra’s still as strong as ever. In fact, it’s in every beer we brew, in every can we fill. As Grant says, ‘We’re always Beer First.’
