Best Male Artist, 2015 “Having made a living with music for three or four years, I understand what it’s like to make an album, to release music, and then to back it up with touring, then add another album … that kind of thing. So I admire people who are consistent, like say, Missy Higgins. I remember when she won an ARIA and afterwards she was really huge. I remember her coming on stage and jumping and hugging someone. So I think the idea of winning an ARIA, after having seen these artists that you admire do so, is really cool.”
