Actually, the first year I’d been to the ARIAs, I sang with INXS and I managed to pick up a couple of ARIAs as well, so that was pretty special. You know, while it feels good to win an ARIA, you don’t [make music] to win award. As a musician, you do it because it’s your passion and you’re compelled to do it.”
