Jurlique chic

While in South Australia to launch October’s Adelaide Fashion Festival, Vogue’s editor-in-chief, Edwina McCann, joined Australian skincare brand Jurlique to present an intimate evening dedicated to signature style and skincare.

With the brand’s international flagship store aglow in rose ombre hues, VIPs enjoyed an exclusive preview of the newly released Jurlique Herbal Recovery range. Guests were treated to three workshops while sampling local delicacies by Emma Reeves and award-winning wines by Deviation Road amid stunning in-store design elements that referenced Jurlique’s nearby farm, where its organic herbs are harvested.

The popular ‘style sessions’, meanwhile, presented by McCann and hosted by local business owner Alexis Teasdale, offered insights into identifying a signature style, the latest fashion trends and skincare tips for a busy life. Guests were also treated to individual personalised skin consultations to find their optimal skincare ritual. Jurlique’s education specialist, Danielle Williams, who presented a masterclass on the night, said: “Jurlique has taken what they know works best in their iconic Herbal Recovery formulas and enhanced them with exceptional new botanicals. The signature Viola tricolor extract – which helps minimise the signs of ageing and increases radiance – has more than tripled in dose to make the antioxidant-rich Herbal Recovery range.” Sounds like the perfect way to fast-track a summer glow.
