As one of Australia’s coolest and most fashionable young female artists, Holly Fewson was an obvious choice for our shoot ‘The art of time’ on page 129. Modelling a series of jewellery pieces alongside her own works of art, Fewson caught our attention for her practice of empowering the female form in her work – something we love to champion. “Working with Vogue is an experience few young painters are awarded and a privilege I am grateful for,” she says of the shoot. “I loved being dressed in looks inspired by iconic female painters,” she continues, explaining how her practice is all about the “figurative contemplations on womanhood and what it is to be viewer and viewed”.
