DRIVEN BY DESIGN
Fashion designer Lillian Khallouf is on the fast track to global success with her hands firmly on the wheel of her MINI Cooper S Convertible.
BOLD MOVES
Sydney fashion sensation Lillian Khallouf is designing her reality, one dream at a time. From a childhood in Syria fantasising about her own fashion show, she now dresses celebrities such as Jennifer Hawkins and Pip Edwards, and is opening a shop at The Intersection in Paddington. “I had my first client when I was 15 [and] I opened my first business when I was 19, making things people described to me. One day, I realised it was okay to just be myself, and make what I wanted to make.” While there’s now freedom of expression in her work, the freedom of independence is to be found behind the wheel of her starlight blue MINI Cooper S Convertible. Driven by creativity and a personal sense of style, Khallouf’s choice of wheels couldn’t be more apt. The MINI Cooper S Convertible is perfect for people who appreciate quality and design coupled with cutting-edge connectivity, all wrapped up in a bold, eye-catching package. Just as Khallouf’s designs are created using time-honoured techniques, the MINI Convertible upholds the essence of its 60-year heritage, but with a stylish modern aesthetic. MINI shares its 60th birthday this year with Vogue, another globally iconic brand, and Khallouf’s next ambition is to join them on the world stage. “My dream is to see my designs worn by women all over the world.” She certainly has the drive to get there.
