“It’s a surreal moment to be living in one of the cities that is so deeply affected by the virus. The streets are like a ghost town and there is a different energy coming from the city. Many friends I have spoken to say it feels like it did post-September 11. It’s sombre, but there is also hope for the other side and the positive changes for the planet and individuals that will come as a result of this crisis. Our home is always our happy place. We love having friends over to listen to records and drink cocktails. I am missing the energy they bring to our home, but I know this too shall pass and they will be back again.”

“I was in the middle of finishing this office at home just before the whole world unravelled, so it was a rush to finish it. I had planned on spending more time working from home this year, strangely: it just came a little earlier than planned. My home is a total reflection of my state of mind, and all the rooms are like environments to play with. I’m constantly moving things around and changing spaces to get another perspective. I do a lot of abstract thinking here.”

“I think it’s a time where we are all being asked to slow down and stop and think about where we are at on a personal level but also on a wider global level. I feel a deeper gratitude for having my own space away from the city. Being in nature is so important to me and every day I feel grateful.”
