Edwina Forest – one half of Aje – and her husband Felix, own a slice of paradise in the tranquil Araluen Valley, just 90 minutes out of Canberra. They let us in on their lo-fi, off-grid weekend existence there, and the charming nearby town of Braidwood.
The seclusion, the energy, the crystal-clear spring-fed creek, the evergreen rolling hills, the ability to bear witness to nature’s constant happenings and creations.
We’ve had so many however, taking our 10-month-old daughter Freïa for the first time is definitely a poignant one. Braidwood is one of the last remaining historic Georgian towns in Australia.

Nature is all around you; it’s such a privilege.
