Sip­ping cock­tails as the sun sets over Bondi, how could you not love it there?” says the Lon­don-born de­signer, who launched her la­bel in Syd­ney in 2004. “No mat­ter where I show­case my col­lec­tion I al­ways come back to Syd­ney and the sup­port I have here. I re­ally em­brace the out­door cul­ture; my de­signs are def­i­nitely in­flu­enced by the life­style I live in Bronte – I love ex­per­i­ment­ing with fab­ric tech­niques such as cro­chet and macramé that are so rem­i­nis­cent of beach cul­ture, and the in­jec­tions of oc­ca­sion wear like play­suits and mini-dresses also re­flect the day-to-night life­style I live.” As a mother of two young daugh­ters, the Bronte beach and pools are oft-fre­quented. “I love that my girls have grown up in and around the wa­ter,” says McCall.
