This issue marked a special milestone for our market editor, Kaila Matthews: her first Vogue cover shoot. Joining the team just a few months ago, Matthews was instrumental in pulling together the finished product for our Rebel Wilson shoot, an experience she describes as one of the best. “Working on a cover, or any shoot for that matter, is amazing. The sense of accomplishment when everything runs according to plan is a wonderful feeling,” she says. “A highlight from the issue was working closely with Kate Darvill and the designers to create one-off, beautiful looks for Rebel.” As for the best part of working at Vogue? “Working with like-minded people who come together to create new and exciting content every month. Oh, and cake – there’s always cake!”
