Pierpaolo Piccioli wanted to freeze-frame the way haute couture appears in fashion imagery and give majestic garments a contemporary sense of ease. He used lightweight faille for a gold raincoat, while rigid taffeta added classic couture drama to coats and dresses. From left: Maryna wears a faille top, gabardine pants and leather gloves.
