Byron Bay, Australia

-

Sequestered away in one of Byron Bay’s original fifishing cottages, this private outdoor bathroom — an extension of the master ensuite — forms part of a three-bedroom beachside retreat. A recent addition, it was inspired by a ‘glamping’ trip to nearby Lamington National Park by owner Taliah Lowry. “The Cottage was a labour of love,” says Lowry. “I fell in love with it the moment we walked in the door... It hadn’t been touched in over 80 years. It was full of character. I wanted to create the ultimate holiday retreat with a relaxed Byron-style vibe yet have the luxuries of modern living.” byronbeachabodes.com.au
