Marrakech, Morocco

-

This bathroom is an immersion in the colour and culture of the Marrakech medina. It’s within El Fenn, a boutique hotel that was originally one of Marrakech’s great private homes. Local craftsmen used local and natural materials to transform the property. In the bathroom, the standout feature is the traditional Moroccan tadelakt wall, which is coloured with pigments from the medina. The bathroom also has a luxuriously deep marble bath and a powerful monsoon shower. Despite its links to the past, the property has modern amenities and contemporary design. el-fenn.com
