Winner of the Archibald Prize in 2009, Guy Maestri is back with his exhibition, Unearth, which runs at Brisbane’s Jan Murphy Gallery until 1 October. The show includes depictions of road kill such as Wreck No. 21 (2016, above) as well as powerful landscapes that reference the impact farming has had on Hamilton in western Victoria, where he recently undertook a residency. janmurphygallery.com. au
