Nilufar Depot THE GALLERY:
Vogue Living met New York-based lighting designer Lindsey Adelman in the cathedral-like surrounds of Milan’s Nilufar Depot. The three-storey building, once a silversmiths’ warehouse, opened in 2015 on Viale Vincenzo Lancetti to the north of the city as an outpost of gallerist and curator Nina Yashar’s famed Nilufar Gallery on Via della Spiga. The vast hangar-like structure houses an ever-changing tableau of vintage and modern pieces that reads like a rollcall of mid- to late 20th century and contemporary design. Yashar was the first in Milan to spot the potential of Adelman’s influential lighting designs. Visit nilufar.com; lindseyadelman.com.
