Reflective mood
A mirror that echoes a room’s style takes it to a new level.
The colours of dusk were the inspiration for this Manhattan powder room designed by New York City architecture and interior design firm Space Exploration. Initially, the ombre-patterned wallpaper, Ray from Calico Wallpaper, was selected. The custom basin is in Belvedere marble, which has a gold vein that picks up the orange in the wallpaper. “We love the interplay between the colours and the way the light resembles the sun sinking low on the horizon,” says Kevin Greenberg, founder of Space Exploration. The Michael Anastassiades light was customised in copper to match the Henry tapware by Waterworks. The frameless Blu Dot mirror was chosen to reflect the gradient of the wallpaper.
