Fisher & Paykel design appliances in a range of beautiful styles so that you have more choice when it comes to your kitchen design. Today’s kitchen is no longer a purely utility area—it’s a well-considered, cohesively designed space for creation. It’s a place where family and friends come together to cook, eat, and socialise. It’s the heart of the home. It’s a space that needs to function, but it also needs to look and feel like it belongs to you. With a unique approach to appliance design and strong working relationships with architects and interior designers around the world, Fisher & Paykel have built their range of kitchen appliances to fit your kitchen as well as they suit your lifestyle. Products are available in four styles to complement your kitchen design: Integrated, Contemporary, Minimal and Classic.

MARK ELMORE, GENERAL MANAGER OF DESIGN AT FISHER & PAYKEL APPLIANCES, SHARES INSIGHTS INTO EACH OF THESE PRODUCT STYLES.

“The integrated style allows our appliances to be tastefully understated, to provide complete design freedom, and to allow their superior functionality and performance to speak for themselves” MARK ELMORE, GENERAL MANAGER OF DESIGN FISHER & PAYKEL APPLIANCES

INTEGRATED STYLE

Integration allows you to fit your appliances with a custom front panel to match your cabinetry. Fitting flush with minimal gaps, integrated appliances disappear into the kitchen. It’s the perfect option for those with a social kitchen—where the focus is as much on entertaining as it is cooking. Fisher & Paykel offer integrated refrigeration products in French Door, Column and CoolDrawer™ formats as well as integrated versions of their revolutionary DishDrawer™ Dishwasher and powerful Rangehoods.

CLASSIC STYLE

Not everyone wants to hide their cooking appliances away. For some, functionality is not something that needs to be hidden, but rather, something to be celebrated. The Classic Freestanding Cooker from Fisher & Paykel is the perfect statement piece for this kind of kitchen. With craftsmanship in every detail, the freestanding Cooker is not simply beautiful to look at, but beautiful to use as well. Equipped with AeroTech technology to ensure even heat distribution throughout the sizeable 140L capacity cavity, these Cookers deliver perfect results.

“Our Classic style blends nostalgic aesthetics with modern functionality. These products are designed to have presence, and to bring a warm touch of tradition to any kitchen.”

CONTEMPORARY STYLE

Many are embracing the sleek and beautifully balanced look of contemporary appliances. Strong materials, sophisticated finishes and elegant design details add up to an attractive package for connoisseurs of current interior design. The beauty of contemporary appliances is that function matches form— cutting-edge technology ensures an incredible performance from each appliance. Fisher & Paykel’s contemporary appliances are the hallmark of the brand, and examples of this impressive design style can be found throughout their entire range.

“Fisher & Paykel has always been a leader in contemporary appliance design. These products are designed to the principles of material quality, textural contrasts and refined geometry.”

“Customers and designers are looking for products that blend into the kitchen —that have a reduction or absence of detail and contrast. The minimal style has been developed to address this— it’s focused on clean lines, tight gaps, and beautiful materiality”

MINIMAL STYLE

The Minimal style is about simplicity of form. These are products that deliver powerful modern functionality, but with a singular aesthetic treatment. Sophisticated and uncomplicated, Minimal appliances from Fisher & Paykel can be treated as a design component that disappears into a kitchen. Fisher & Paykel’s new Built-in Ovens in black are the perfect example of appliances in the Minimal style. The stainless steel trim has been replaced by black glass. Simple display icons eliminate the need for a cluttered control panel, and two dials are able to operate every one of the considerable functions the oven can perform. Materials and finishes were strategically chosen to make the Oven visually interesting when closely inspected—smooth and brushed surfaces as well as gloss and matte—this adds some subtle detail. From farther back, this Oven becomes a single component that recedes into the kitchen.
