This Day in History, 1912
ANOTHER death with a slightly unusual touch.
Robert Fitzgerald Finnis worked as a billiard marker at the Bulls Head Hotel.
He had been the lessee of the billiard room for 10 years. Two days after he died on this day in 1912, he was buried in the Wangaratta cemetery by a clergyman named Canon Cue.
Fancy a billiard marker being buried by a Cue and a Canon at that - surely one for Ripley.
