Open since July 2017, The Malt Shed has be­come a bustling brew­ery, bar and res­tau­rant, and a hub for the lo­cal com­mu­nity.

Hav­ing re­cently erected a mar­quee in the rear of the premises, the venue is now bet­ter equipped than ever to host re­cep­tions and even the wed­ding cer­e­mony it­self if you wish.

Ca­pa­ble of cater­ing for, and en­ter­tain­ing up to 250 peo­ple, The Malt Shed team are flex­i­ble when it comes to dec­o­ra­tion and menu op­tions, and can work with cou­ples to put to­gether an event that re­flects their needs, de­sires and di­etary re­quire­ments.

The Malt Shed prides it­self on serv­ing food made from pre­dom­i­nantly lo­cal in­gre­di­ents, and much of their bev­er­age menu – in­clud­ing house made beers, and cider, wine, gin and more – is also made lo­cally. The venue is fam­ily friendly and is lo­cated only a few mo­ments walk or drive from the Wan­garatta CBD and lo­cal ho­tels and shop­ping fa­cil­i­ties with park­ing fa­cil­i­ties avail­able on-site.

When it comes to entertainment at your re­cep­tion or event, The Malt Shed is ideally suited for live bands, or you can have a DJ or mu­sic playlist, the venue's lo­cal busi­ness con­nec­tions means items like dance­floors, dec­o­ra­tions and more can be eas­ily or­gan­ised.

The venue has in­door/out­door seat­ing to en­sure events can be held all year round.

The Malt Shed is also ideal for pre-wed­ding events such as re­laxed en­gage­ment par­ties or din­ners, or low key, beer and whisky mas­ter­classes – a great way to gather friends and fam­ily be­fore the big day.
