Dancers are set for fort­night of fes­ti­val fun

THE Wan­garatta Fes­ti­val of Dance is cel­e­brat­ing 20 years this month, with two big week­ends to be held on May 19 and 20, and May 25 and 26 at the Wan­garatta Per­form­ing Arts Cen­tre.

More than 800 acts with both lo­cal dancers and dancers from across both Vic­to­ria and NSW will be per­form­ing.

In ad­di­tion to two week­ends of com­pe­ti­tion danc­ing, the Wan­garatta Fes­ti­val of Dance will kick off on Fri­day, May 18 at 7pm with a 20 Year Cel­e­bra­tion Show­case.

En­try to both events is free to the com­mu­nity with the Satur­day com­pe­ti­tion 9.00am un­til ap­prox­i­mately 9.30pm and Sun­day, 9am un­til ap­prox­i­mately 5.30pm.

COM­PE­TI­TION: Laura Dun­can from Judy O’Mal­ley’s School of Dance in Corowa, will be among the hun­dreds of dancers to com­pete in this month’s Wan­garatta Fes­ti­val of Dance.
