Dancers are set for fortnight of festival fun
THE Wangaratta Festival of Dance is celebrating 20 years this month, with two big weekends to be held on May 19 and 20, and May 25 and 26 at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre.
More than 800 acts with both local dancers and dancers from across both Victoria and NSW will be performing.
In addition to two weekends of competition dancing, the Wangaratta Festival of Dance will kick off on Friday, May 18 at 7pm with a 20 Year Celebration Showcase.
Entry to both events is free to the community with the Saturday competition 9.00am until approximately 9.30pm and Sunday, 9am until approximately 5.30pm.
