A true show of humanity

Wangaratta Chronicle - - News -

IT’S often said that tragedy and adversity brings out the very best in a community.

There are many examples of this in Wangaratta’s history, and no doubt the completion of the 4 Kids and Carers Future Foundation (4KCFF) home is a significant addition.

The level of support from individual tradies, businesses and other community members to see this home built for the four children who lost their parents in the most tragic of circumstances in Wangaratta on Anzac Day last year is nothing short of phenominal.

To Jason Reid - chair of 4KCFF - Cavalier Homes and Graham ‘Stretch’ Everett - who’ve been so integral to the project, well done on a truly inspirational project.

We can regularly lament what is wrong in the world, and criticise the things that others do.

But how refreshing it is to see such a clear show of humanity, provided by so many in our community.

Again, well done and congratulations to all involved.
