Mys­tic Park re­vamp

ALPINE Shire Coun­cil has this week an­nounced Bright Trails as the con­trac­tor to build the fi­nal 3.8 kilo­me­tres of new moun­tain bike tracks at Din­ner Plain.

Stage one of the 7.1km project was suc­cess­fully de­liv­ered ear­lier this year.

The 3.8km of ad­di­tional trail for stage two will pro­vide riders of all abil­i­ties with ac­cess to over 18km of rid­able ter­rain at Din­ner Plain.

Along with con­struc­tion of the new trail next year, ex­ist­ing sig­nage will be up­graded and ad­di­tional sig­nage put in place.

READY TO BE RE-SUR­FACED: Alia Parker (ACP), Ru­pert Shaw (Bright Brew­ery) and Marthijs He­u­per­man (Bright Brew­ery) on the eroded sec­tion of Mys­tic Park’s Hero Trail. This sec­tion will be re­stored to its for­mer smooth sur­face with help from a $1000 Bright Brew­ery do­na­tion. Mys­tic Park has also re­ceived $10,000 from the Into Our Hands Foun­da­tion for emer­gency sig­nage.
