Early chance for fans to see Fever make their pitch
WEST Coast Fever fans will get their first glimpse of Super Netball opposition a fortnight ahead of the opening round when the Fever hosts the Sydney-based Giants in a pre-season match.
Fever head coach Stacey Marinkovich said the Fever-Giants clash at Arena Joondalup on February 5 would be an important test for her team.
“I’ve been impressed by the intensity and commitment the group has brought to their training throughout pre-season but it’s important we have an avenue through which to transfer that to a match environment,” she said.
Fever members will gain free access to the stadium for the game after collecting their membership packs pre-match from the club’s activation zone, Fever Alley.
For non-members, tickets are $20, under-16s $10, and children under three enter free.
Membership pack collection will be available from 8.30am, with Fever Alley set to open at 9.30am and the game to start at 11am.
A curtain-raiser between the Western Sting and an invitational side will be at 9am.
Fever’s first home game of the 2017 Super Netball season is against the Queensland Firebirds at Perth Arena on March 3.
