TWO men have been charged and more than $100,000 cash has been seized af­ter a po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tion into a bur­glary spree across mul­ti­ple suburbs, in­clud­ing Greenwood. A 22-year-old man al­legedly forced en­try to homes to steal ve­hi­cles, cash and prop­erty dur­ing May. He also al­legedly tar­geted El­len­brook, Wem­b­ley Downs and Clare­mont. He is ac­cused of threat­en­ing res­i­dents while claim­ing he had a gun in one in­ci­dent. Of­fi­cers last week de­tained the man af­ter search­ing a Cock­burn home. They later ar­rested a sec­ond man (23) and seized a bag con­tain­ing $122,900 cash. He was charged with one count of un­law­ful pos­ses­sion. The other al­leged of­fender was charged with ag­gra­vated armed rob­bery, un­law­ful pos­ses­sion and four counts each of ag­gra­vated bur­glary, steal­ing and ve­hi­cle theft.
