TWO men have been charged and more than $100,000 cash has been seized after a police investigation into a burglary spree across multiple suburbs, including Greenwood. A 22-year-old man allegedly forced entry to homes to steal vehicles, cash and property during May. He also allegedly targeted Ellenbrook, Wembley Downs and Claremont. He is accused of threatening residents while claiming he had a gun in one incident. Officers last week detained the man after searching a Cockburn home. They later arrested a second man (23) and seized a bag containing $122,900 cash. He was charged with one count of unlawful possession. The other alleged offender was charged with aggravated armed robbery, unlawful possession and four counts each of aggravated burglary, stealing and vehicle theft.
