TAKE CARE WHEN SELLING ONLINE

Wanneroo Times - - Street Watch - – Senior Sergeant Stephen Thompson

VEHICLES have been stolen after the owners advertised them for sale on internet selling sites. Offenders contact sellers and arrange to view vehicles. In some cases, the sellers have given their address to prospective buyers and arranged a date and time. The person has not shown up and the seller has been unable to contact them. The seller has then been subject to a burglary or theft where the advertised vehicle has been stolen. Never give your address to online buyers if their profile does not have contact details.
