ALBANY TEEN STORY BROUGHT TO LIFE

STU­DENTS from St Mark’s Angli­can Com­mu­nity School are pre­par­ing to bring to life an Albany au­thor’s pop­u­lar novel.

Year 7 to 9 stu­dents are in­volved in all as­pects of the stage pro­duc­tion of Gaz, adapted from War­ren Flynn’s 1994 book, and their roles range from ac­tors and mu­si­cians to tech­ni­cal crew and or­gan­is­ing hair and make-up.

The score was writ­ten by pri­mary mu­sic teacher An­drew Martin.

Head of Arts Jamie Cant and drama work ex­pe­ri­ence teacher Cian McDon­ald will di­rect the per­for­mance.

Per­for­mances will be held on June 22, 23 and 24 at 7.30pm at the school’s per­form­ing arts com­plex in Hil­larys.
