ALBANY TEEN STORY BROUGHT TO LIFE
STUDENTS from St Mark’s Anglican Community School are preparing to bring to life an Albany author’s popular novel.
Year 7 to 9 students are involved in all aspects of the stage production of Gaz, adapted from Warren Flynn’s 1994 book, and their roles range from actors and musicians to technical crew and organising hair and make-up.
The score was written by primary music teacher Andrew Martin.
Head of Arts Jamie Cant and drama work experience teacher Cian McDonald will direct the performance.
Performances will be held on June 22, 23 and 24 at 7.30pm at the school’s performing arts complex in Hillarys.
Tickets cost $23; visit bit.ly/2rr1mXU.
