POLICE are still hunting for a group of men and women who attacked a Duncraig resident after forcing entry to his home more than four months ago. A police spokesman said four attackers visited the victim’s home on April 22 about 1.30pm. One of them requested a glass of water. “As the victim went to his kitchen to provide the water, two of the people have entered his house without his permission,” the spokesman said. “The victim approached them and asked them to leave. As this happened, another two people entered the house without the victim knowing and began picking up various items from around the house.” Members of the group assaulted the victim when he tried to stop
them stealing his property. They chased and attacked him when he fled the home. They sprayed him in the face with an unknown substance and struck him on the head with a metal object. The remaining offenders stole cars parked in the driveway after finding the keys. Police believe the five people pictured can help with inquiries.
