SEVERAL northern suburbs residents will appear on stage in Beauty and the Beast at The Regal Theatre this month.

The Disney production will start on August 25, with Landsdale resident Andrea Lim included in the cast.

Lim will play Babette, a housemaid who has been magically turned into a duster, in the first eight performances of the show.

“I really enjoy giving Babette life, as she is very different to characters I have played before,” she said.

“All the cast and crew are amazing, and the show is family-friendly and fun.

“Working with the costumes and sets is a little daunting as they are so detailed; I am worried I will damage them.”

Cast members also include Currambine residents Tahlia May (19) and Stacy Taylor (17), Edgewater’s Katy Astle (20), Kenisha Yam (16), of Beldon, Leah Cusma (14), of Joondalup, and Jessica Weir (16), of Ocean Reef.
