Kingswood for Global Beats & Eats
MELBOURNE trio Kingswood will headline this year’s City of Wanneroo Global Beats & Eats event next month in Marangaroo joined by an array of quality acts from Australia and New Zealand.
The free event on March 17 is set to draw music and food lovers to Paloma Park to experience sounds and tastes from around the world.
Fresh off their 2017 national tour, Kingswood will play hits from their debut album Microscopic Wars and latest LP After Hours, Close to Dawn, showcasing their electric old school RnB sounds mixed with rock ’n’ roll and smooth soul.
Returning to Global Beats & Eats this year will be crowd favourites Jakubi with their buffet of pop, RnB, hip-hop, rock and soul.
Other support acts will include
Luke Fox, Hein Cooper and Summer Thieves and there will be roving musicians and dancers.
Free children’s activities will be on offer, including drumming workshops, tribal face painting and headband making. Food trucks will offer a choice of cuisines from around the globe, including Arabic, French, Indian, Mexican, Spanish and Thai.
Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options will be available.
Tickets were released to City of Wanneroo residents yesterday.
