MEL­BOURNE trio Kingswood will head­line this year’s City of Wanneroo Global Beats & Eats event next month in Maranga­roo joined by an ar­ray of qual­ity acts from Aus­tralia and New Zealand.

The free event on March 17 is set to draw mu­sic and food lovers to Paloma Park to ex­pe­ri­ence sounds and tastes from around the world.

Fresh off their 2017 na­tional tour, Kingswood will play hits from their de­but al­bum Mi­cro­scopic Wars and lat­est LP Af­ter Hours, Close to Dawn, show­cas­ing their elec­tric old school RnB sounds mixed with rock ’n’ roll and smooth soul.

Re­turn­ing to Global Beats & Eats this year will be crowd favourites Jakubi with their buf­fet of pop, RnB, hip-hop, rock and soul.

Other sup­port acts will in­clude

Luke Fox, Hein Cooper and Sum­mer Thieves and there will be rov­ing mu­si­cians and dancers.

Free chil­dren’s ac­tiv­i­ties will be on of­fer, in­clud­ing drum­ming work­shops, tribal face paint­ing and head­band mak­ing. Food trucks will of­fer a choice of cuisines from around the globe, in­clud­ing Ara­bic, French, In­dian, Mex­i­can, Span­ish and Thai.

Gluten-free, veg­e­tar­ian and ve­gan op­tions will be avail­able.

Tick­ets were re­leased to City of Wanneroo res­i­dents yes­ter­day.
