The U3A (University of the Third Age) North Coast is offering several activities this week including a poetry group from 11.30am, social walking at 12.30pm and a guest speaker from 1.15pm about conflict. Elizabeth Brennan will speak on the topic ‘Can I Avoid Conflict?’ and will look at the questions around conflict and what strategies to use to improve communication. Cycling Without Age
An international not-forprofit organisation run by volunteers will launch in WA on Saturday to connect elderly people to their local community. Cycling Without Age will offer elderly people and people with mobility impairments the opportunity to enjoy free trishaw rides along the coast daily. Tastebuds will heat up at Mindarie Marina this weekend with the return of the annual Chilli Festival. The venue will host more than 20 chilli-themed market stalls on February 24, selling a range of products. The festival will run from noon to 5pm, with a free children’s zone and music.
