Heal­ing Spir­its

The Aus­tralian Spir­i­tual Heal­ers of WA is invit­ing peo­ple to a heal­ing ses­sion and af­ter­noon tea for $5 at The Spiers Cen­tre. Call 9401 7338. When: Sat­ur­day, Fe­bru­ary 24, from 14pm. Where: 2 Al­ba­tross Court, Heathridge.

Group Ac­tiv­i­ties

The U3A (Univer­sity of the Third Age) North Coast is of­fer­ing sev­eral ac­tiv­i­ties this week in­clud­ing a po­etry group from 11.30am, so­cial walk­ing at 12.30pm and a guest speaker from 1.15pm about con­flict. El­iz­a­beth Bren­nan will speak on the topic ‘Can I Avoid Con­flict?’ and will look at the ques­tions around con­flict and what strate­gies to use to im­prove com­mu­ni­ca­tion. Cy­cling With­out Age

An in­ter­na­tional not-for­profit or­gan­i­sa­tion run by vol­un­teers will launch in WA on Sat­ur­day to con­nect el­derly peo­ple to their lo­cal com­mu­nity. Cy­cling With­out Age will of­fer el­derly peo­ple and peo­ple with mo­bil­ity im­pair­ments the op­por­tu­nity to en­joy free tr­ishaw rides along the coast daily. Chilli Fes­ti­val

Taste­buds will heat up at Min­darie Ma­rina this week­end with the re­turn of the an­nual Chilli Fes­ti­val. The venue will host more than 20 chilli-themed mar­ket stalls on Fe­bru­ary 24, sell­ing a range of prod­ucts. The fes­ti­val will run from noon to 5pm, with a free chil­dren’s zone and mu­sic.
