A round of cheers for our Volunteers
Conservation and community services volunteers have been acknowledged for their incredible contribution to the City of Wanneroo.
More than 125 volunteers were invited to a volunteer appreciation dinner to recognise their services. Mayor Tracey Roberts addressed the group, thanking them for their efforts. “We are very fortunate to have so many kind and generous people in our community, willing to give up their time to help others and our environment,” Mayor Roberts said. “On behalf of the City of Wanneroo, I sincerely thank all of our volunteers and hope they know just how much they are appreciated.” Several people were also highlighted for going above and beyond the call of duty, presented with Volunteer Excellence Awards.
