COOK­ING meat is a work of art. For those of you who’d like to up your meat cook­ing game, Vince Gar­reffa – also known as the "Prince of Flesh" – is now run­ning his own cook­ing classes and meat work­shops at Mondo Butcher re­tail store in In­gle­wood.

A man with great pas­sion for lo­cal pro­duce and cook­ing, Vince’s in­ten­tion is to teach pas­sion­ate food­ies about meat and share his knowl­edge and recipes.

You will get to learn some butcher se­crets, how to buy good-qual­ity meat, how to pre­pare it, how to cut it, how to cook it, how to carve it and how to save it when you over­cooked/un­der­cooked it. Yes, you could lit­er­ally save your meat even if you have screwed up the cook­ing process.

Ad­di­tion­ally, you will also gain some ba­sic knowl­edge in se­lect­ing the right wine to com­ple­ment your dish, meat and food stor­ing, side dishes prepa­ra­tion, as well as kitchen hacks - 10-minute won­der dishes and $2 bud­get meals that ac­tu­ally taste good.
