Sharing the Bounty
AUSTRALIAN journalist, television presenter and author Peter FitzSimons will be in Joondalup this month to discuss his new book. Mutiny on the Bounty
tells the dramatic story of Captain William Bligh, Fletcher Christian and the famous mutiny on HMS
Bounty in the South Pacific on April 28, 1789.
FitzSimons (pictured) will bring the tale of human drama, intrigue and adventure to life when he speaks at the West Perth Football Club function centre on November 27.

SCHOOL FETE Ocean Reef Primary School is holding a fete to celebrate its 30 year anniversary on Saturday, November 24, from 11am to 4pm. There will be a rope climbing course, bouncy castle, old fashioned games, a train ride, stalls and food vans at the Kaufman Avenue school. Entertainment includes a dance troupe, martial arts, face painter and a band. SUMMER FIREWORKS Sorrento Quay Boardwalk in Hillarys will hold its annual Launch of Summer Fireworks on Saturday, November 24. There will be live entertainment from 6pm, with fireworks set to start about 8pm. WANNEROO SHOW The Wanneroo Show will run from 4pm to 10pm on Friday, November 23, and from 9am to 10pm on Saturday, November 24, at Wanneroo Showground. There will be fireworks both nights, entertainment on the main stage, horse competitions, sideshow alley and show books will be available to buy and have signed on the night. Cost is $6.
