Tree lop­pers face court

CON­SUMER Pro­tec­tion has charged two tree lop­pers with breach­ing the Aus­tralian Con­sumer Law. Sean Robert Weinthal, of Wan­neroo, faces nine charges, in­clud­ing fail­ure to com­ply with laws re­lated to un­so­licited con­sumer agree­ments and fail­ure to pro­vide in­for­ma­tion about his iden­tity and street ad­dress. Mr Weinthal’s nephew Mitchell Craig Gris­brook, of Con­nolly, faces five charges, in­clud­ing fail­ure to com­ply with laws re­lated to un­so­licited con­sumer agree­ments and fail­ure to pro­vide in­for­ma­tion af­ter be­ing served a com­pul­sory no­tice. Mr Weinthal and Mr Gris­brook ap­peared in Perth Mag­is­trates Court on Novem­ber 9. Mr Weinthal’s case was ad­journed un­til De­cem­ber 14 and Mr Gris­brook’s mat­ter un­til De­cem­ber 7.
