CHRISTMAS LIGHTS TRAIL
Marvel at stunning animated lights, festive decorations and lively projections brightening malls, streets and parks across the city. With two new trails to follow featuring 18 light installations, it's easy to create your own journey on any night in the lead-up to Christmas. Head to St George's Cathedral to get a glimpse of the Christmas Projections or make it your mission to experience the new additions, which will surely create awe and wonder. Relive a European Christmas among the stunning State Buildings in Cathedral Square. Indulge in fresh produce and gourmet delights while shopping for hand-crafted gifts.

Grab a snack from a nearby restaurant and pull up a beanbag for free festive movie screenings. The flicks kick off with a special visit from Santa on the big screen.

BRASS ON THE GRASS
Established in 1898, enjoy the smooth sounds of the historic City of Perth Band as it performs Christmas concerts amid balmy Perth evenings. Don't miss a special Brass on the Grass hosted by East Perth Community Group and Activate Perth on December 12.

WA Symphony Orchestra, Lotterywest, the City of Perth and children's charity Variety have joined forces to keep the spirit of Christmas alive to create the Lotterywest Christmas Symphony. Hosted by Louise Momber, Christmas Symphony will feature a complete program of classical music hits and everyone's favourite Christmas carols. Families can sing along to Jingle Bells and
Silent Night while also enjoying the sparkling Overture to Bernstein's Candide, Jupiter from Holst's The Planets and Tchaikovsky's ever-popular 1812 Overture, featuring a spectacular firework finale.
