The Alkimos Wastewater Treatment Plant is planning to discharge 26 mega litres of treated wastewater to the ocean a day. What an absolute disgrace. Every drop of this precious water should be returned to the aquifer, which would replenish our wetlands to their former beauty and allow our growers to retain their water allocation.
