We are asked why Jindee is different. Here are some answers to your questions.
Will there be a variety of homesite sizes at Jindee? Jindee will offer a choice of housing and homesites sizes from 165m2 for terrace styled homes to large 2500m2 sites. It will be a place with variety for all generations with a mix of natural, suburban and urban areas.
Tell me about all this tree planting and the parks.
One of the appealing features of many of Perth’s older suburbs are the beautiful leafy trees that line the streets.
Jindee will feature around three times more street trees than you’d find in a typical new development. The species have been carefully selected to ensure real shade, so in time you will be walking down to the beach under the canopies of trees such as Tipuana Tipus and Figs.
Why are you retaining the topography?
We are not removing the natural topography of the area, homes will sit atop dunes and will have views rolling down to the ocean. The unusual landform creates a natural amphitheater which allows most of the site to be orientated towards the coast.
Will there be beach access?
The ultimate vision for the Jindee foreshore and beaches will be unlike any other. Jindee will be closer to the ocean than any other land estate in Western Australia. No matter where your home is in Jindee you will be able to meander down to the beach and the future coastal village, walking or cycling via tree lined streets and thoroughfares.
Are you suggesting rear garages to make the streets safer?
Simple really. The streets are designed to slow traffic, encouraging people to get out and walk. Many streets in Jindee have been designed with rear garages to avoid dangerous crossovers, allowing pedestrians, cyclists and parents to feel more comfortable and enabling kids to scoot, ride, skate and play more safely.
Is it true you have architectural standards?
Our Architectural Standards will ensure your beautiful home doesn’t end up next to something, well, not so beautiful. The standards will maintain the balance between personal expression and street harmony.
Tell me about schools, transport hubs and shops.
There’s a lot that’s coming to Jindee and a lot more that’s already here. There are 4 primary and 2 high schools close by, as well as a Coles, Aldi, Dome and Dan Murphy’s within a short drive. Public transport? Done. Butler Train Station is just 3 minutes down the road. From Stage 1 you are positioned so close to it all, less than 1 km to either the beach or the train station. Located in the suburb of Jindalee, only 20 mins from Joondalup city centre and
37 km north of Perth.
Is there a display street where I can visit houses that highlight the Jindee vision?
Yes we have 5 new unique display homes built by Perth’s best builders. Each home is open for you to visit. They are beautiful homes, with their own individual, coastal feel. Perfect for Jindee.
