Women

Trafalgar women’s bowl was played on Monday, October 26.

Eighteen teams played off for the bowl with Mirboo North being the winners with a great score of 113.

The winning team included Maree Thompson (14), Barb Stimson (26) and Sue Trail (20).

The silver division was won by Kerren Ludlow from Trafalgar with Barb Stimson taking out the bronze.

Pink day was held on Wednesday, kindly sponsored again by Sue Balfour.

The women played a 4BBB with Lyn Powell and Nola Fordham winning with a score of 46 points.

Runners up where Pat Harris and Di Moody with 44 points.

Down the line went to Aija Owen and Silvija Brown with 42 then Jenny Evison and Di Larsen with 41 points.

Nearest the pin on the second was Mary Dyke, fifth Aija Owen, 11th Lynn Powell, 13th Di Larsen and Silvija Brown was on the 15th.

Tomorrow will be the first round of the club championsh­ips with match and play doing the starting and checking.
