Hill End market returns

-

Fill up your Christmas hampers when the Hill End Community Market returns on Sunday with trading from 8.30am.

Feature items at the market, held at the former Hill End school site, will be homemade jams and preserves, Willow Grove Lions’ Christmas puddings and cakes, home-baking and farm fresh eggs.

Add these to locally made jewellery, garden ready plants, wooden village pieces, dolls clothes and books by local author Ann Cliff, and the stress of Christmas shopping could be over.

Mugs bearing a Fumina South School sketch, engraved wine glasses, printed stubby holders and pens, together with local history book will be available.

For rest and relaxation after shopping try a Bowen therapy, calming scented candle or infuser, nail treatment, or putting your feet up with a second-hand book.

Add to these stalls bric-a-brac, baby goods, vegetable seedlings, hand-made cards and craft.

The barbecue will be operating with Devonshire teas and cold drinks also for sale.

Willow Grove CFA will showcase its new tanker and provide information about how to be fire ready this summer.

Sites are still available and enquiries can be made by calling Chris on 5635 2256.

All proceeds go towards the upkeep of the former school facility for community use.
