Sew’nSews put on first quilt show

-

The skilled and passionate patchworkers and quilters at Warragul Community House are gearing up for a huge event to be held over a Saturday and Sunday November 28 and 29,

They have named themselves the 'Warragul Sew'n'Sews' and this is their inaugural quilt show, to be held at Warragul Community House, with an entrance fee of $5 per person. The show will open at 10am and conclude at 3.30pm.

Not only will their quilts be on show, providing lots of ideas and inspiration; there will also be a wide range of hand crafted items for sale, such as gift boxes, knitting, baby clothes and of course, some patchwork and quilted articles perfect for Christmas giving.

The festive atmosphere will include a raffle, door prizes and refreshments.

This fundraising event has been organised by Warragul Sew’n’Sews. They have been meeting for many years, now on Tuesdays and Friday mornings at Warragul Community House.

As well as sharing their technical skills, there is a strong bond of friendship and fun within the group.

Those interested in attending the show can simply pop in whenever convenient, enjoy refreshments and gather lots of ideas, plus some Christmas gift goodies.

All funds raised will go to Warragul Community House, a not-for-profit organisation, providing adult education and building community connections.
