Coster Mixed Martial Arts had four of its students compete in the World Kickboxing Association event held in Melbourne recently, doing their club and trainers proud.

Damon Lyons fought a technical fight to a brilliant win, dominating both the striking and clinching.

Simon Ginters fought a super heavy weight to a well fought draw with both boys evenly matched.

Jakob Bryne and Andrew Petruccelli both had really close wars where both boys showed a lot of heart but unfortunately got a split points loss.

Andrew’s opponents’ trainer came up after commending Andrew. He said he would have given Andrew the win, which showed great sportsmanship.

Jakob and Andrew tasted success at the Victorian WAKO K1 championships in an elimination style tournament also in Melbourne.

It was a long gruelling day for both boys who had to fight multiple times, but both came through with the goods, Jakob securing first place and Andrew third.

Meanwhile, Nathan Allen and Daniel Kimmink both fought on the Victorian Amatuer Mixed Martial Arts Assosciation fight night in Melbourne recently.

Both boys fought really well and moved brilliantly stepping it up against tough experienced opponents.

Nathan secured a dominating win in a kickboxing bout, while Daniel fought a close fight using some really nice footwork and hand speed in a boxing fight to an unlucky loss.
