Dusties win re-match

-

Cora Lynn and Warragul Industrials met in the Reserves in a grand final rematch.

The end result was similar to last year’s decider, with Dusties too good in winning 12-13 (85) to 2-1 (13).

Not helped by an undermanned senior side due to injury, the Cobras struggled to win possession in their front half as Dusties controlled the contest from start to finish.

Lee Jefferies, Drew Davey, James Hall, Scott Lindsay and Troy Hemming also had a major bearing on the contest.

The Cobras were best served by Travis Ramsdale, Thomas Arnett, Chris Sharpe, Corey Ramsdale and Blake Millier.

Cobras strong

Cora Lynn overcame some early inaccuracy to continue its strong from with an all the way win in the under 18s, 910 (64) to 2-3 (15).

Lachlan Miceli, Jared Atkinson, Ben Virgona, Michael Rossetti, Adam Jenner and Jackson Becker led the way for the Cobras.

Murray Kingwill, Jake Bundle, Jacob Walker, Jackson Perry, Isaac Lalor and Bradley Curtain battled hard for Dusties.

Cobras all the way

The Cobras kicked 10 goals to one in the first half to put the result beyond doubt.
