As a business woman of the 21st Century I am fully aware of just how much diversity is out there in the fitness industry. I want to bring that diversity to our local people so they can experience new and exciting options and remove some of the limitations out there for our younger generation.

I started in this industry way back in 2003 where I became addicted to teaching and inspiring others to take control of their health and wellbeing. Today I am part owner of Voyage Fitness; which strengthens my passion to make a difference in people’s lives and have an impact on making change.

Voyage Fitness is a family gym that encourages individuals of all ages, including children to choose movement over sedentary activities. As I now have two small children it becomes so important to me to encourage them to have a lifetime of movement. Children of today have so many choices from ipods, ipads, X-boxes and all the other electronic devices out there, but instead I choose to encourage movement, simple play and fun activities that will leave an impression.

Our gym chooses to invest in young people right through their journey from kids to older adults. With the introduction of the Voyage Kids Foundation in 2015 we started the ball rolling: By giving opportunities to our local kids from all walks of life, giving experiences to those who may not normally receive it, but most importantly getting out there into the community and playing a part in getting our next generation moving.

For the future I want to change the way children, see exercise, not as a chore but as FUN. I want to bring more diversity to our members so they have unlimited options and endless opportunities.
