RESERVES STRUGGLE

Warragul reserves felt the consequences of the senior squad injury list fielding a depleted side against Traralgon on Saturday.

It is something that comes at a heavy price against a strong Traralgon club. On Saturday it meant a 16-13 to 1-6 loss. The Gulls fought the game out but were never able to mount a challenge.

Better players were Adam Larkin, Murray Kingwill, Josh Bloink, Lachlan McNeil, Tom Axford and Rowan Lawson-Pepper, Lawson-Pepper kicking the goal in the final term.

Gull Tom Kelly had plenty of encouragement on Saturday from some friends on the fence as he looked for an option to pass to a team mate.
